eXtra is committed to corporate social responsibility through UEC's training and hiring program for retail personnel. Working in cooperation with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, the program targets Saudi youth with specialized training courses and offers them job opportunities at eXtra and other UEC outlets. More than 250 trainees have graduated from the program since its inauguration.
