Welcome to www.extra.com (Referred to as “the website/ online service), service provided by eXtra, a subsidiary of United Electronics Company in Bahrain. The website is operated by eXtra (referred to as "we/our/us"). As a user (referred to as "you/your/Customer") of the website you must read and acknowledge below the following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”). By purchasing via the website, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Read carefully before using the online service. If you do not agree (or cannot comply with) any of the Terms and Conditions, do not use the online service.

Payment during Mega Sale:
- Cash on Delivery will be available on small items during mega sale.
- Collect from store will be ready for collection from the selected store after 24h.
Mega Sale Home Delivery:
- Delivery date is an estimated time frame and is subject to change based on location. Estimated delivery dates are published on product details pages. Accurate delivery dates, based on your product selection and desired delivery location, are displayed during the checkout process.
- If the customer cannot be contacted, then the delivery date will be affected and accordingly the delivery might be cancelled or rescheduled automatically, the customer still can reach the call center to change the booking date and time according to the terms and conditions.
- The customer can change their scheduled appointment at any time before the actual appointment day without any additional charge. If the customer wants to change their appointment on the scheduled day, a re-schedule fee of BHD 10 will be charged.
- On the day of the appointment if the customer is not on site 15 minutes after the installation team has arrived the installation appointment will be cancelled, and the customer must call Extra Customer Services and re-book the appointment at a cost of BHD 10.
Delivery Charges for Orders and Minimum Shopping Cart Value
- Delivery Charges: Free over 10 BHD | Charged 1.5 BHD under 10 BHD.
Large item delivery (including Air conditioners)
Delivery Charges: Free except the following:
- Split AC installation charges might be applied for installation based on customer’s selection.
- Any required accessories that might needed for proper installation.
- Any deliveries that are located out of our coverage (conditions are mentioned below).
- The mentioned Web site delivery time for large items on the product page is based on the availability at the time of the order being placed which may change at the time of booking by the customer during the purchasing process.
- In case of multiple products purchased at the same order, we may deliver the order on multiple visits.
- Please note: The Home Delivery for the big items will be maximum up to the 3rd floor, noting that there is no installation service available for the TVs 32 inch and less.
- The customer is kindly requested to ensure that the site is ready for proper installation (civil work, decoration & electricity).
AC Split Installation Agreement Clauses:
- Before the booked appointment day, the customer can call Extra Customer Services to reschedule the installation at no extra cost. If this is done on the actual day of the booked appointment a 10 BD fee will be charged.
- If the customer is not on site 15 minutes after the installation team has arrived the install will be cancelled, and the customer must call Extra Customer Services and re-book the appointment at a cost of 10 BD
- The customer must ensure the installation site is made ready and that all building and plumbing work is completed prior to the installation team’s arrival
- If the installation requires the drilling of a hole into a concrete wall this work must be completed by the customer before the arrival of the installation team - Extra does not provide this service.
- The customer needs to secure easy access to the building or the apartment in terms of the items’ dimensions.
- The home delivery service team can only install and carry the items up to the 3rd floor without elevator only, otherwise the booking will be cancelled, and the customer will be kindly requested to call the contact center for rescheduling, and 10BD will be applied.
- Home delivery team is not responsible for removing any old/installed items once they want to start the installation for the new items.
- Extra will provide 4m of copper pipe for the installation. If additional pipe is required, the customer must pay the charge indicated above to the technician before the installation can commence.
- If the customer requests that any existing pre-installed pipes are used, Extra is not responsible for any failure that may result from the use of these pipes
- If the customer chooses to have the outdoor unit installed on the wall the customer must supply the appropriate wall brackets. These can also be supplied by the Extra Technician for a charge of 10BD which must be paid prior to the installation.
- Ladders and scaffolding to install the AC on the ground floor is included in the installation charge. Installation to additional floors will be charged at 10BH for each AC on each additional floor.
- Extra is not responsible for the cooling efficiency if the AC capacity is not compatible with the room size
- If the AC develops a fault within 14 days of the installation Extra will send a technician free of charge to establish the cause of the fault and repair, it where possible.
- If the fault is reported within 14 days of the original installation date and the technician has established that there is a manufacturing defect Extra will replace the product. The lead time is dependent on stock availability.
- Extra reserves the right not to exchange the product within the 14-day period if the technical report after the visit states no manufacturing defect or the product has suffered abuse after the initial installation has been completed.
- If the customers do detect any failure after 14 days from the installation date, the customer is kindly requested to contact the supplier, or the warranty provider for further help.
My shopping cart:
- We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to limit the quantity of items selected per person, per household or per order on ‘My shopping cart.
- eXtra reserves the right to cancel bulk and trade orders. Cancelled orders will be communicated to the purchaser and refunded as per Extra’s refund policy.
Returns, exchange & refund:
All submitted refund requests during the Mega sale would take 7-14 working days based on the payment method used in the purchasing process.
For Online Customers, In case you are not satisfied with your product(s), or the product(s) is defective, within (15) days from the date you receive your order, you can calling the call center or reach us on social media pages as well as visiting the nearest store.
For Open-Box returns, eXtra accepts only the “un-sealed” products in its original packaging with its full accessories in a condition of "Not use" for the product, noting that 30% will be deducted for the smart products (Phones, laptops, computers, smart watches & any related digital products), and 15% for the other products.
My shopping cart:
- Software, video games are non-returnable.
- Due to hygienic reasons Health & Beauty products (shavers, epilators, oral/ dental care…) are not subject to any return, replacement, or refund, unless found defective within (15) days.
- Mobile phones, computers, gaming devices are not subject to any return, replacement, or refund, unless found defective within (15) days.
- Printers, faxes, copy machines, supplies and accessories are not subject to any return, replacement, or refund, unless found defective within (15) days.
- In case the customer wants to return an order that include free gifts, due to any reasons, the customer has to return the free items (gifts) or the company has the right to deduct the gifts value from the total order if the customer used/opened the free gifted item(s).
- While preparing for a return, product must be in its original packing with full set of accessories and manuals included. We do not accept return of products which have scratches, are damaged because of misuse, or malfunction due to wrong voltage connection. At our sole discretion, we may consider returns that do not satisfy the above criteria.
Price Match Policy during the Mega Sale:
- For Stores Customers & online customers. Customers who have purchased using Cash payment or credit card or they will get the price difference as CASH, once they visit the nearest store for applying the terms and condition for Price Match Policy, where this applies on the invoices starting of 10th Oct 2021.
Use of the website is available only to persons who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. Persons who are "incompetent to contract" as per local Contract Acts are not eligible to use the website.
Except where additional conditions are provided which are specific to products or services, these Terms and Conditions supersede all previous representations, understandings or agreements.
By using the website, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
You are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of the website, including without limitation:
- Accessing data not intended for you or logging onto a server or an account which you are not authorized to access.

The website will investigate occurrences that may involve such violations and may involve, and cooperate with, law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who are involved in such violations.
We view protection of your privacy as a very important community principle. We understand clearly that you and Your Information is one of our most important assets. We store and process your Information on our servers located in Al Khobar that are protected by physical as well as technological security devices. We use third parties to verify and certify our privacy principles. We do not sell or rent Your Information to any third parties without your explicit consent.

Customers that complete product and/or seller reviews are providing extra with full ownership and license to reproduce their reviews in any marketing material and publish on the website and in marketing material without further customer consent based on the submission of the review.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to limit the quantity of items selected per person, per household or per order on ‘My shopping cart’. Your shopping cart capacity is limited to two (2) pieces per item.
The said limitations may be applicable to orders placed by the same account, the same credit card, and also to orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. We will provide notification to the customer should such limits be applied.
While the website strives to provide accurate products information (such as stock availability, pricing, products features, images, and specifications) and services information, typographical errors may occur.
The colors of our products that appear on the Website will be displayed as accurately as possible. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be accurate.
Publishing any form of product/service information (including -but not limited to- marketing proposal, ads, offers, magazines and flyers) on the website does not guarantee stock, offer and price availability online or in store.
Errors may occur in the process of providing product/service and pricing information on the website. The website cannot confirm the pricing and total cost of a product/service until online checkout is completed. In the event that a product/service is listed and invoiced at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or product/service information, the website have the right, to either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. In the event that we accept and process your order online, the total cost will be debited to your credit card account and notifying you by email that the payment has been processed.
Still, in our effort to be the lowest price provider in Bahrain, store pricing will sometimes differ from the website prices. We strive to provide you with the best prices possible on the website, as well as in all our stores. However, sometimes price online does not match the price in a store. “Price Match Policy” does not apply to online sales and online prices.
Stock availability and pricing are subject to change without prior notice. All Prices and Fees are inclusive of VAT as applicable - unless stated otherwise.
Shipment processing dates depend on your order, city and your payment type. Please note Pre Orders are not included within the standard shipping time summary below:
Delivery is 4-55 working days excludes Friday which is not a working day and public holidays such as Eid and Bahrain national day. During public holidays and Mega Sale/Anniversary delivery may take up to 5-77 working days.
Delivery is estimated delivery and not guaranteed, for the most up to date estimate please see the product page.
The product page is updated regularly based on latest information. Delivery is also dependent on customer accepting and arranging delivery with the courier or eXtra delivery team.
If customer cannot be contacted the delivery date will be affected and delivery will be delayed without any responsibility to extra.

Small item delivery through couriers (less than 30kg)

Large item delivery through eXtra (including Air conditioners)

Customers who placed an order for any large item such as an AC, will receive a phone call to confirm the first available delivery window.
Web site delivery time for large items on the product page is based on the availability at the time of the order being placed and does not guarantee that the same delivery window is available at the time of booking with the call center agent via the phone.
We deliver free of charge to all cities and towns.
If you place an order online with a combination of light and heavy weight item(s), the products will be delivered to the specified delivery address in different shipments and timings.
Please note: The Delivery for the big items will be for the 3rd floor maximum. There is no installation for the TVs 49 inch and less.
In case the customer wants to return the product due to a personal reason within 15 days for online purchasing, and 15 days for the store purchasing, and not related to the product status, it is the customer’s responsibility to bring the item back to the showroom.
Can't wait for delivery? Collect from store!
Simply place your order online, choose "Collect from store" delivery option, we will arrange your selected product(s) for collection in your chosen store.
The service is available from all eXtra stores for small products only. While placing your order, check individual product(s) page – exceptions may apply.
For confirmed "Collect from store" orders, customer will receive within (2) hours e-mail notification from extra.com where, as and when the product(s) is ready for collection. The following collection and reservation rules are applicable:
- A valid ID and a printed copy of the order e-mail notification will be required for collection.
- For "Collect from store" pay online orders are reserved for maximum (7) days.
- The orders will be handed over to the registered person details upon the order creation.
- The receiver details are not changeable at all, where if the customer wants to change, this required complete cancellation for the order, and to be processed again.
The website provides the possibility to purchase product(s) and /or service(s) online and to settle payment online or in-store based on shipping, delivery method available in Bahrain. Payment transactions including authorizations and settlements will be in Bahraini Dinars.
We accept the following modes of payment:
- For in-store payment transactions: bank credit cards, debit cards, cash, eXtra gift cards or cheques.
- For online payment transactions: Bank credit/debit cards (Visa and MasterCard).
For online payment transactions, customer will receive on order acknowledgment once the payment has been authorized. We cannot accept any liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit card supplier for any reason. You should check your bank credit card supplier for that.
We do not store your credit card details on the website. All payment details which are entered through the website payment gateway are encrypted when you enter them. Communications to and from the service provider’s site are encrypted.
We cannot provide any of your payment information obtained via the web to other companies or individuals unless required to by law. This information is processed by our payment merchant.
Credit card details provided by you for benefiting from the online service will be truthful, valid and accurate and you shall use the credit card which is lawfully owned by you. The said information will not be utilized and shared by the online service with any of the third parties unless required for fraud verifications or by law, regulation or court order. The online service will not be liable for any credit card fraud. The liability for use of a card fraudulently will be on you and the responsibility to prove otherwise shall be exclusively on you.
In the event that we are unable to supply the full or portion of the order, we will inform you accordingly. A full or portion refund will be given -through credit card where you have already been charged for (no cash returns).
Using the online payments facility of the website indicates that you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this facility.
- We match the competitors’ prices advertised in publications or websites at purchase.
- Come and take the price difference and cheaper by %10 of the difference in cash, if you find it announced by a competitor at a lower price before the purchase.
- Come and take the price difference if we reduce the price after purchase. (30 days validity)
- Come and take the price difference if the item was advertised at a lower price by a listed competitor (hypermarkets). (Applies within 7 days after purchase)
- The Price Match Policy (PMP) applies to all products sold at eXtra stores Bahrain or eXtra website in Bahrain.
- The advertised product must be of the same brand, model number and country of origin, and shall be under warranty in accordance to the warranty policies applicable in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- The advertised price must be in Bahrain Dinars, and any other expenses will be calculated if they are part of the offer (such as installing the air conditioners, delivery expenses, or attached gifts if any), and then comparing them to the competitor's price.
- The products advertised by competitors must be available at eXtra Bahrain stores at the same time of the claim.
- This policy only applies on the specific list of competitors which is available at the stores, and only to the competitor that has physical store in the country.
- The price matching process will be done by going to the customer service desk at the nearest eXtra Bahrain store (whether purchased from eXtra Bahrain store or eXtra Bahrain website), and submitting the required data.
- Each customer is entitled to apply this policy and get the price difference for only one product of the same type as a maximum, unless the price reduction was implemented by eXtra which applies to the whole customer transaction on entire quantity purchased.
These below cases are excluded from the policy:
- Exclusive offers on eXtra Bahrain website.
- Mobile devices.
- Competitor’s web exclusive offer, flash sale, limited quantity offer, one day offer, clearance offer, new store opening offer, and loyalty programs or bank cards offers.
- Any typo mistake in model number or price occurred by eXtra Bahrain or other competitors

Cancellation by eXtra: www.extra.com reserves the right to cancel the order due to any of the following reason:
- Payment rejection.
- Buying more than 2 pcs of the same item.
- Customer no-show or delay for more than 7 days in collecting his (paid online) “Collect from store” orders.
- Wrong delivery address given by customer or wrong contact details or due to customer is not reachable on certain time limit.
- Extra Stores is committed to providing the best possible customer service to our customers, as such any bulk orders over a quantity of 2 of the same sku or promotion/offer to the same customer or business orders will be cancelled at the discretion of management.
- In case the customer want to make return because of manufacture defect or he don’t want the product, and there is free gift with his item and it has been used the amount of the gift will be deducted on customer.
Cancellation by customer: To process cancellation of an order, please contact us. You can cancel the order due to any of the following reason:
- We are unable to procure/deliver the product/service(s) in a reasonable time; or after the confirmed date from the time we confirmed your order.
In case you are not satisfied with your product(s), or the product(s) is defective, within (15) days from the date you receive your order as the following.
- Any non-defective small or large appliance that you need to exchange or return, eXtra is not responsible for pull out. It is the customer’s responsibility to bring the item in the showroom in perfect condition.
- For defective small appliance, you are requested to visit our showroom and bring the item with you.
- For defective large appliance you can contact us to make a request for pull-out.
- Product must be in its original packing accompanied with online printed receipt and all accessories and manuals.
- Products that are returned within 15 days as “dead on arrival” / ”not functioning” may be exchanged or refunded after technical inspection from our technicians or manufacturer’s technicians.
- Any open box return or exchange will be subjected to the following deductions:
- -30% on mobile phones
- -15% on all other items
- Video games, software, computer games, computer software, (re)writable multimedia products are not allowed to exchange/return.
- Due to hygienic reasons Health & Beauty products (shavers, epilators, oral/ dental care, hair straighteners/blowers, foot spa…) are not subject to any return, replacement or refund, unless found defective within 15 days.
- Mobile phones, computers, gaming devices are not subject to any return, replacement or refund, unless found Defective within 15 days as per official technical report.
- Printers, faxes, copy machines, supplies and accessories are not subject to any return, replacement or refund, unless found Defective within 15 days.
- eXtra does not allow return and exchange of products which are damage as a result of misuse such as scratches or malfunction due to wrong voltage connection or missing parts of the product such as catalogues, accessories, etc…eXtra has the right to determine such case.
- eXtra will not be held responsible for data loss or transfer of data for exchanged or returned products.
- Gifts cards, free gifts and/or bundled items should be returned to complete the return or exchange transaction.
In the event of a return as a result of product malfunction or manufacturing defect, damage upon delivery or delivery of the wrong product or for other reasons (i.e. customer needs an exchange or customer changed his mind) customer will not be charged for any shipment fees or/and Bank transfer fees.
Products sold by us are covered by 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. The minimal manufacturer’s warranty takes effect from the date of purchase. eXtra extended warranty services (also named Force 24/7 Services contract) are available for many categories of products that we sell.
You must check and read owner manual before using the product to make sure it meets all safety, security and electrical local requirements.
Unless specified, electrical products that we sell are designed to work on 110-220 Volts. If you do not have appropriate installation to operate at this electrical voltage, we do not recommend you to use the product. Products damaged due to use with wrong electrical sources and / or supplies will not be accepted under manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions.
All products sold by us have received quality control approvals and are deemed to be functional when shipped by us. After (15) days from the date you receive the product, if there is any problem with the purchased product, it is recommended to contact directly manufacturer’s authorized service center in Bahrain to get repair for the product or bring it to us and we will handle the issue.
- Repair time takes 15 working days from the next day eXtra receives the unit from the customer except for mobiles, laptops and printers.
- In case product has extended warranty purchased from us, eXtra will check the unit within 48 hours and if not ready within the specific time, customer will receive a temporary replacement until the item is fixed.
You can contact us to obtain manufacturer’s authorized service center locations and contact details.
- Digital Cards issued are valid for Middle East region , gamers profiles.
- Issued cards CAN NOT be returned or refunded at any of eXtra Stores across KSA, Oman and Bahrain.
- Issued cards validity and activation/Redeeming information and instruction are found within the email sent to a customer with the digital code.
- If a customer has an issue with a purchased Gaming Card or Software Card, he/she should contact the product`s owner (Microsoft & Sony).
- Digital Cards activation or subscription or redemption in normal circumstances will be sent within 2 hours from his order placement, unless delayed for any technical problem.
- Digital Cards, CAN NOT be purchase as a Collect From Sores order.
- Cash on Delivery Payment option IS NOT enabled for Digital Cards.
- Customers should receive their digital code in his/her email provided during order submission , within 2 hours in regular/normal situations.
- Valid for 24 hours for deal of the day and for 72 hours for weekend offer or until stock last.
- Available online for home delivery and not available in store or for collect in store.
- Limited to 2 units per customer duration of the deal of the day and weekend offer, if a customer is found to have who ordered more than 2 units of the offer item, subsequent orders will be cancelled.
- Placement of order is not a commitment to contract.
- eXtra have the right to withdraw the promotion at any time.
- All Deal of the day items will be delivered within 2-33 working days.
- Deal of the day or weekend offer can't be used with any other promotion or special offer in store or online.
Special Day Sale Terms & Conditions
- Maximum quantity per item is limited to only TWO per customer.
- Offer not applicable on Pre-Order items & selected products.
- Offer is valid for 1 day only, or till allocated stocks last.
- Offer valid online only and not available in stores.
- Due to increased orders, there may be a delay in the delivery (please refer to the estimated delivery date on product pages)
Pre orders are guaranteed in terms of customer orders, once payment is confirmed extra.com will guarantee your pre order device or item however delivery times are based on supplier lead times and cannot be guaranteed.
Pre order delivery dates and collect from store dates may differ based on supplier delivery. Final dates and time will be communicated to customer once supplier stock arrives by sms, email or phone to customer. Estimated dates are estimates based on supplier delivery into Bahrain.
We reserve the right, to cancel any pre order due to failure of delivery from our suppliers. extra.com will always do its very best to fulfill all pre orders and delivery within the estimated delivery time, however the estimated delivery time is based on the lead time from the supplier and is not a confirmed delivery date.
extra.com will always do its very best to fulfill all collect from store pre orders and make the order available at the earliest possible time based on supplier delivery and store opening times however the estimated collection time is based on the lead time from the supplier and is not a confirmed collection date. Final dates and time will be communicated to customer once supplier stock arrives by sms, email or phone to customer. Note pre orders are not included within the 2 hour collect from store promise.
All pre order customers will receive updates from extra.com if the delivery date changes and as soon as extra.com receive further delivery information from the supplier.
If the supplier fails to deliver the pre order on time, extra.com does not hold any liability for delays and will not share any compensation with the customer for delayed Pre orders beyond the originally stated estimated delivery date.
Customers can at any time request for a full refund on any pre order and their order will be refunded in the standard process and time.
- Please keep and save the original invoice so the AC can be installed.
- eXtra have the right to reject exchanging or returning the AC after the installation.
- Only maximum 4 meters of insulated copper pipes will be installed free of charge with each 1 split AC, and won't be given if the AC is not installed. If the pre-installed pipes are there we will provide the pipe to the customer.
- After doing the installation the AC will be under the supplier warranty and responsible for any required service or repair within the warranty period.
- The customer is kindly requested to make the installation site ready (civil work, decoration, plumping, Water drainage...) to ease the installation operation, and to provide suitable electricity.
- eXtra will not install the AC in case of concrete wall and requires to open a hole as this is the customer responsibility.
- eXtra installation team is not responsible for electric wiring.
- Maximum allowed height for the scaffolding is 3 meters. If more than 3 Meters customer must pay 5BD for each 3 Meter additional.
- eXtra is not responsible for the cooling efficiency inside the manhole.
- eXtra is not responsible for the cooling efficiency if the installation site size is not compatible with the AC capacity.
- The customer has to pay the value of the additional pipes or any other additional costs prior to the installation.
- eXtra is not responsible for the quality of the pre-installed pipes at the installation site.
- In case the customer did not attend the booked appointment maximum within half an hour then eXtra will cancel the appointment, and the customer has to book another appointment.
- The wall bracket will not be installed as standard. If required, customer has to pay prior to Installation 10BD.
eXtra.com have various credit card installment option plans, the plans change regularly and are based on eXtra and bank promotions. Note that some installment plans are online exclusive and not available in the store. Credit Card plans is subject to a processing fee depending on how many months you want to pay (maximum 12 months) The latest plans and participating banks are available on the checkout, click pay by Credit card installment to see the plans. No phone call is required to the bank to select in the checkout, however the total order amount will be blocked until your installment plan is completed by the bank. As per the bank policies no refunds can be processed on any orders with an installment.
All installments have a minimum order value. eXtra.com is not responsible for the installment plan or the financial resolution of the installment - this is the responsibility of the customer and the bank.
In case the sold item is not received within a maximum of 30 days from the invoice date, eXtra will not be responsible for keeping the item in its warehouses & will be obliged, unfortunately, to cancel the invoice. The customer will be entitled for only a full refund as per the normal refund policy.
For the furniture and homeware items, the home delivery does not include the installation service.
